Production

PRODUCTION

Internationally or locally, we put together production teams to get your project produced on time and on budget.

We own broadcast-quality production equipment in-house, which helps keep costs down for smaller productions and allows us to focus on getting your message across without unnecessary frills or overages. Post-Production

POST-PRODUCTION

At the heart of Point of Blue Studios is our state-of-the-art boutique post-production facilty. Here, we cover all aspects of post, from video editing to sound design and ADR. We've worked on projects in all forms of media and can deliver your final product in any format required.

VIDEO EDITING
Our team has been editing scripted and non-scripted content for film, television, and commercial clients for nearly a decade. Our top-of-the-line editing suite runs industry standard NLEs, including Adobe Premiere CC, Final Cut Pro X/7, Da Vinci Resolve Studio 14, and Avid Media Composer to accommodate any type of workflow, from HD to 4K and beyond. And because of our streamlined approach, our turnaround times are often quicker than most post houses and far more cost-effective.

SOUND DESIGN & RE-RECORDING MIXING
At Point of Blue Studios, we specialize in a full array of audio post services. Our ProTools|HD 12 5.1 surround mixing suite houses a Raven MTi2 touch screen console, studio monitors by Adam and BlueSky, and high-end A/D by Antelope, Universal Audio, and Focusrite. We've worked for years mixing commercials, features, digital series, and broadcast television.

ADR & VOICE-OVER RECORDING
We offer ADR recording for feature film and television along with voice-over services for commercial and talent agencies, audiobooks, video games, digital series, and podcasts. Our spacious recording booth is able to accommodate multiple vocal talent comfortably for extended periods of time. We're also capable of connecting remotely to studios across the globe for out-of-town clients and talent.
Virtual Reality

VIRTUAL REALITY

Though still in its early days, Point of Blue has been at the forefront of the Virtual Reality revolution. For over two years, we've been pushing the boundaries and exploring the limits of this new medium with some of the best storytellers in the industry. Our VR work has been featured at Sundance Film Festival, E3 and Siggraph. With over a dozen VR360 projects under our belts, we are continually developing best practices when it comes to workflow and efficiency.
 
While mainly focused on VR post-production, designing and mixing sound for Spatial 5.1, ambisonic, and binaural audio, we are developing new projects with other VR pioneers as well. It's a very exciting time to be a storyteller, and we're always looking for new collaborators to blaze the trail with.
